What is the economic situation for waiters in those countries? Its the norm to tip in the United States because the hourly wage for a waiter when I was doing it in the 1990s was $2/hr. That might be a cultural difference if thats even true, because I’ve never heard that one before.
Often I will get grabbed at the door and escorted to a servers’ tables. Orlando in the summer, when the Brazilians stuff the restaurants. Happens frequently.
Often I will get black male servers. I know that male servers in most places do not get tipped as well as female servers. I get that ... if they do a good job I will leave them a good tip.
Perhaps black male servers (even if they do a good job) make less than other make servers. IDK. Seems like someone in the restaurants is trying to balance out tips ...

If you don’t understand the ‘slave thing’ connotation, blacks can get back at whitey by making them serve them for an hour, and then not tip. Its not that difficult to comprehend, and it does happen.
No matter how bad girls may be at math (some say), once they start serving everyone of them can calculate the % of tip they were left ... which is just another form of arithmetic.
So maybe we should incentivize students differently than we do know.
No diplomas without basic arithmetic ...

When tourists come to the US, they are very aware we tip servers yet they choose to feign ignorance. Also, I have worked at a number of restaurants where the bartenders and other wait staff were minorities and had the same complaints as you do about how other minorities tip. I see it as more of a cultural thing, and just plain being cheap.
Just call her “Mrs. Pink”
For certain minorities, it’s their chance to play “Master and Slave” with them as the Master.
It is very common for them not to tip. I’ve been told by a few that it’s a cultural thing, and they’ve been taught not to tip because it’s a payback of sorts for all the slavery years.

A tithe is 10%, tithe literally is the translation of one tenth.
God requires the “first fruits” of everything. A tithe is the standard or the requirement.
A tithe is not an offering. A tithe is our baseline giving of income as Bible believing Christians. An offering is not a tithe. It is giving beyond the tithe as one can and is lead by his conscience by applying God precepts and principles to his life.
I wouldn’t say God doesn’t want more than a tithe since the Bible never sets that as a limit only as a minimum.
As I have made more money over my Christian life I have been able to give a larger portion.
I also do not want to impede on anyone’s liberty in the faith.
You need to give a tithe but you need to follow the prompting of the Spirit in giving of offerings.
I always tip 15% no matter what. If I get good service I tip 18-20%, if I get exceptional service I may tip 25%.
I used to have a coworker (himself black) who worked a side gig as a waiter. He said the same thing.
