I was a waiter for three years in my youth. Blacks don’t tip. Everyone in the business understands this. It doesn’t matter how well you do your job, blacks don’t tip. So, you do your job and hope the black table leaves the restaurant without complaining about something. If you can get any blacks to eat their meal, pay for it, and leave peacefully, it was considered a victory. I theorized it’s a slave thing.
What if their waiter or waitress is black? Do they tip them?
Good theory. They use the race card like they use toilet paper.
White tourists from Canada and western Europe don’t tip either. Is that a slave thing too?
Often I will get grabbed at the door and escorted to a servers’ tables. Orlando in the summer, when the Brazilians stuff the restaurants. Happens frequently.
Often I will get black male servers. I know that male servers in most places do not get tipped as well as female servers. I get that ... if they do a good job I will leave them a good tip.
Perhaps black male servers (even if they do a good job) make less than other make servers. IDK. Seems like someone in the restaurants is trying to balance out tips ...
