Unlike our elected reps and military, I don’t think the police take an oath to protect and defend the constitution so I would imagine if so ordered by these oath breaker politicians who should be immediately removed from office and jailed for violating their oath, that the cops would confiscate guns.
I much prefer the 2A counties and cities separate from the northern counties and form our own state.
The creation of West Virginia provides since precedent for this.
I know that the civil war at the time muddies the waters but there is still precedent.
If the majority of counties are able to make the case that they no longer share the values and objectives of the few populous counties and therefore MUST secede in order to form a new state which is more attentive to the US constitution and the rights of the citizenry then they may make an argument that will hold up in court.
It would take a carefully crafted document such as the US Declaration of Independence, which carefully listed each grievance and how those grievances were a burden to the citizenry, then it would stand up in court.
