They either leave or get Romanian term limits.
Those are symptoms of aging. Illuminate the aging, and those diseases disappear.

Well, if it means you won’t hit puberty until age 35 or so, that would be great. Childhood twice as long, maybe more. One of those smart kids, with no libido to distract him, will find a cure for arthritis. I only hope he doesn’t find it in spiders, or clowns. Even rubbed on, that would be a deal killer for me.

Hey, with a little luck, they get this stuff figured out in another 15-20 years. (I figure I am good for another 30, with a little luck.) Between medical stuff like this, or uploading one’s consciousness and memories into a computer, and ultimately with the final assurance from my faith in Christ, I feel pretty good about the future, consciousness wise.

Aubrey De Grey has been specializing in Life Extension/reversing aging for over a decade, and guiding a lot of research. That is right about the time frame he is estimating.

I like to poke around basic academic research/papers when I take an interest in the subject. Aging has been one of those topics since making it to double nickels a couple years back...
