his is the real issue - if 30% get sick, another 10% stay home to care for sick, 10% stay home to care for kids when they close schools (action #1 for an epidemic), and another 10% stay home because they are scared, nobody is making, ordering, or delivering anything. The economy then looks like the old Capital One commercial where the guy trys to use cash - everything grinds to a halt.

I would assume that most of America’s N95 masks come from China. This is not good. The last thing we should be doing is sending what few we have back to China.

I have a hard time believing my own government. But I absolutely don’t believe Chinese propaganda. When have they ever been honest?

Again, I suggest keeping 50 million people quarantined is going to close more than the trickle of western money leaving for Vietnam. Why not just invade Vietnam?

Beijing declared a first level emergency response. All ‘interstate transportation services’ going in and out of Beijing are suspended beginning tomorrow. Which began yesterday.
