I’m pretty sure jackfruit is what is used to flavor juicy fruit gum..
So while vegans may have only recently discovered it, most Americans have tasted it before without knowing it.
My one and only never to be repeated encounter with this “fruit” was the big honking pod butchered and prepped for raw consumption. YUCK!
