You don't eat any plants?

It tastes like whatever you soak it in.

I love it canned in syrup like a fruit for desert. But I have heard of it soaked in chicken broth then it tastes like chicken.

It is good plain too, but bland.

I think that if you eat animals that eat plants, that’s close enough to count.

It’s not a meat substitute. It is more like a syrup of Ipecac substitute.

So let the jackoffs eat it then.

Thanks but no thanks. I’d rather go to my end with a belly full of delicious meat.

Asian markets will have them canned.

They are huge in real life - vaguely football shaped- if a football was 2 feet in length.

Too bad Brits know nothing about good food or cooking.

Your brief but snarky comment does you no credit.

Bad British cooking is bad — just like bad American cooking is bad.

But properly prepared with fresh ingredients, both traditional British and American dishes are simple and delicious.

Both cuisines define “comfort food” — whether it’s American meatloaf or British bangers and mash.

There is no substitute for meat.

Really? I find that not dying of heart disease or cancer is actually a pretty good one.

Why do people want pretend meat?

Jackfruit is most certainly not a pretend meat like beyond burger or impossible burger. That stuff is gross. Jackfruit is an actual fruit.
