Except that “Roots” is a pile of excrement.

380 only runs about 25 miles before it links with I-80, so he’d have to hurry.

Better to take US-30, body parts aren’t as noticeable on secondary highways.

I always wondered why everybody was standing around smoking Virginia Slims at the end of that movie.

This same plot was in American Horror Story, where Delphine LaLaurie was tied to a chair and made to watch ‘Roots’.

If he had waited 5-10 years, he wouldn’t get into any trouble for this. Trump will hold back the tide for the next 4 years. After that?

Was he then made to watch Roots: The Next Generation in which Kunta Kinte becomes a starship engineer.

Or something like that.

Sure I do................
The star of the show, Julie LaVerne, and her husband Steve are forced to leave the "Showboat" when it is revealed that Julie has "Negro" blood in her, thereby breaking the state law by being married to her white husband, Steve.
How is a story about a mixed race woman violating Jim Crow laws by marrying a white man, then being driven into poverty supposed to be any lesson for what Robert Noyes did? Don't you think that only reinforce his white hatred?

Long ago it was observed that the slave doesn’t necessarily want his freedom, he wants to be the slavemaster.

Plenty of leftists don’t want “equality”; they want revenge. This is what drives them, to punish innocent people for something they aren’t guilty of, as payback for something they were never a victim. “I never owned no slaves and you never picked no cotton” doesn’t register with someone who has been worked over their entire life by marxist “educators” and the rest of it.

Interstate 380 goes only as far as Iowa City, where it links to Interstate 80 which goes on to Chicago.

Of course he meant Interstate 380 southbound.
380 northbound goes to Waterloo IA.

Now depending whether they’re at the north end or south end of Cedar Rapids, that’s a 13-24 mile stretch of highway.

And if the tobacco nazis hadn’t raised the cigarette tax to confiscatory levels in the first place, the guy wouldn’t have been doing that in the first place. “The black market” is fundamentally the free market at one level, if you stop and think about it. I’m not advocating law breaking, but it’s important to understand basic concepts that are always and ever “conveniently” oh so left out of the debate or conversations. Weird, huh?

Absolutely. It’s not about having the opportunity in many cases. Because I don’t believe they REALLY think they can do it if given the chance. They don’t want to TRY. They would rather stand and demand than put their money where their mouth is.

This goes for every lib and minority who can do nothing but complain

Make him watch “Birth of a Nation” (1916) and “Gone with the Wind” (1939).
