Traveler ‘Cleared’ Of Coronavirus Appears On Fox News, Coughs On Child While Saying ‘It Is Contagious’

A “cleared” coronavirus traveler went on Fox News to speak Friday about the quarantine process, but he began to cough repeatedly on his child while talking about the rampant virus and how he had tested negative for it twice.

Frank Wucinski, a Pennsylvania man who was quarantined in Southern California after traveling, spoke to Fox News about the ordeal Friday. Wucinski said his family was quarantined for having contact with his father-in-law, who died in China. While talking on “America’s Newsroom” about testing negative and how contagious the virus is, Wucinski began to cough repeatedly.

“Fortunately from what I understand, you know, it is contagious but the death rate is pretty low,” the Pennsylvania man said as he coughed on his child, grabbing her water bottle and taking a sip.

WATCH:

Wucinski attributed the cough to being nervous when host Ed Henry pointed it out. He continued to cough for the rest of the segment. (RELATED: CDC Warns Americans To Prepare For Coronavirus Outbreak In Their Communities)

“They said I’m fine. I got tested twice. Negative both times. The cough was probably just nerves,” Wucinski said.

The World Health Organization re-evaluated the risk assessment of coronavirus on Friday, putting it at “very high.” Multiple cruise ships around the world have been quarantined over fears of the virus, and some Americans have self-quarantined as fears of the virus spreading grows.

Pardon me if I’m sceptic of the whole CV scam.

If it's a scam then can you please answer these questions to the best of your ability?

Why have the governments of ALL countries affected taken extreme steps to stop its spread?

Why did the US ban flights from China? Why the did US quarantine cruise ship passengers? Why is Italy cutting off entire towns to stop its spread? Why did Japan close all schools for a month? Why has Israel essentially shut down travel?

Understand that countries are doing things that are unprecedented in modern times to try and stop this. If it's NOT a big deal why are they essentially shutting down their economies (China, South Korea, Japan etc) to try and deal with this?

Just answer the question...WHY are government treating it LIKE it's extremely dangerous IF it's no worse than the flu?

No worries! To each his/her own :)

I mentioned the third test, for this guy who returned from WUHAN, as they are finding an infected person can remain infectious, for close to a month, while remaining asymptotic.

Fear is a mighty weapon. Yes, to each his own. If it’s as bad as it seems it’s mentioned in the Bible.

When’s the last time you had your heart function checked? Chronic cough can be a sign of early congestive heart failure.

“Traveler ‘Cleared’ Of Coronavirus Appears On Fox News, Coughs On Child While Saying ‘It Is Contagious’”

that’s extremely alarming because there are no other known causes for coughing besides coronavirus ...

“He was tested twice, after returning from Wuhan. He might want to get checked, again”

I know, right? ... after all, there are no other known causes for coughing besides coronavirus ...

Because the damage from the panic is worse than the damage from the virus.

Because the damage from the panic is worse than the damage from the virus.

So in that scenario the various governments have deemed that mass quarantines, cutting off cities with armed guards, locking people in their apartments and banning travel will cause LESS panic than newspaper stories? Color me skeptical.

I am under a cardiologist. And other doctors. Rode hard and put away wet to many times. But they say the chronic cough is due to a mild case of asthma. I had something about 4 weeks ago. Tested and not the flu. I was over it in about three days. But the cough remains, worse than usual. I am sure people flee when they hear me coming.

It’s prescription, at least in the US.
And it suppresses the immune system, so should not be taken without good reason.
I’ve taken it for a disc problem in my back.

My daughter has mold induced asthma. She moved from the coast to a dryer inland climate and her asthma was gone in a month.

Yes, you need a prescription. The second time I needed it I was with a new doctor and I had to push him just a little bit to write the Rx. I guess it has some downsides if taken for a prolonged time. But with one round of treatment my cough was entirely gone and did not come back for years.

yeah it sure is annoying- i get it but not to the extent you do- for me the spray works to calm it down for like 15 minutes or so- then it starts again- this goes on for an hour or so, then stops fortunately- I sure would hate for it to happen longer periods- can imagine how it must drive you crazy-
