Never thought I would raid my neighbor with my 22 survival rifle for the granny with crochet needles and yarn.

LOL ....

One of the low carb docs I follow (who has a great sense of humor), said healthy patients are calling & wanting anti-viral drugs (as a preventative). He told them if he gives the drugs to healthy patients, what will he have left for the sick patients .... walk out the door, look left and right & see that you are not the only person in the world. His neighbor ran out of toilet paper and asked the doc for a roll ...OF COURSE he gave his neighbor a roll ... $50 bucks is $50 bucks!!

If you want to see some great toilet paper memes (where I got the picture), go to powerlineblog at:

Latest children's hat and scarf that I made for 'Warm Up America.' Yes, cold weather is coming to an end for most of us, but they'll take donations all year long, as they send items all over the place. Red Heart Stripes yarn in 'Cool Stripe.'

I have so many projects/supplies stashed away, I can’t even find them all anymore.

As you know, I host the ‘Gardening Thread’ each week, too.

We are to have two rainy, chilly days coming up and I AM going to do one of two things - clean out my clothes closet (which I’ve been b!tchin’ about for a YEAR, now) or clean out my craft stash to include all of my craft books, hooks and yarn..

I’ll let you know what makes the cut tomorrow. :)

I’m sorting seeds, cleaning out clothes closet and plan to wash my curtains this weekend!

Whee.

LOL! I haven’t been able to actually walk into my clothes closet in over a year.

A very good ‘rainy day’ or ‘shelter-in-place’ activity.

I’m in the middle of making one out of Stripes, in their Parrot Stripe colors. I hope I have enough yarn to make a matching hat. Almost all of my crocheting is done for different charities these days. Mainly, because my family runs when I ask if they need anything crocheted. Lol.

True!

I like to make quilts and at this point, I could make several more without having to go out and buy fabric.

But I will anyways.

I like to check Hobby Lobby’s close out bin. They often have some end of bolt of some nice calico for a good price.

Now that mr. mm and I are not going out, we are getting much more done at home.

I am FINALLY tackling the filing, a chore I HATE.

Going through closets and and getting rid of old kids stuff and homeschool curriculum. I need to go through the clothes and see what fits and what I seriously think I’ll wear and what I haven’t touched in years.

I’m starting to get past the sentimental value part of a lot of stuff.

I’m past the ‘sentimental’ thing, too; the older I get, the more I want to concentrate on quality, rather than quantity.

If you haven’t worn it in a year, pitch it,

(Of course, that gives you an excuse to buy something new and pretty...:-)

A couple things have helped me.

One is that when my m-i-l passed, guess who got to go through her stuff and clean out her TWO places (she was a snowbird).

The thing that did was put me in the mindset that when I look at something, I look at it as my kids would and if I were them, would I keep it?

Mostly *No*.

That’s when I really started letting things go.

Now, if only I could get mr. mm on board with that.......
