As you may know, Garry Kasparov isn't exactly a fan of President Trump to say the least. I was wondering why is that? Is it because he swallowed all that "Trump/Russia" bullcrap from Hillary? Is it personal prejudice? What do you think it is?

Kasparov lived through Cold War and doesn’t like Putin at all and doesn’t understand what he sees as Trump’s ‘cozying’ up to world leaders like Pootie, Kim Jong Un, (for business/dealmaking) purposes.

It’s funny. Majority of high profile anti-Putin intellectuals/celebrities of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus......are Trump haters.

He is vehemently anti-Putin and Trump’s talk during the campaign about working with Putin and having a good relationship with him IMO cemented Kasparov’s position.
He has referred to Trump’s racist leanings, so he sounds like he has bought what the MSM/liberal press was selling.
Just because you’re good at chess doesn’t mean you’re clear-eyed about politics.
Kasparov has embraced the Leftist view of American politics. Exceptionally smart but mostly self-taught, he is prone to arrogance and to discounting any views but his own. For years, he has been predicting the imminent collapse of Putin’s regime — and is so unchastened by being wrong that he routinely issues new predictions of Putin’s demise.
