Now imagine that you live in Kirkland Washington...
This post goes in a different direction than I was expecting.
Elderly, Chinese, Cruise. You won the daily triple threat!
I feel for people who have to wait on others as a job, you never know what you’re gonna be dealing with.
Have an appointment at the hospital Tuesday. When I go in and say, “yeah, was out on a cruise last month when this stuff hit,” expecting a lot of stepping back, masks, etc.
Los Altos, not the low rent district. I have a construction project there in about a month. Do you have the name of this place?

I’m having dinner last night with a fried who was on a cruise with his wife last week. We’ll be shaking hands and breaking bread.
Place is empty, so a couple who just got off a cruise plunk down next to the only other occupied booth. Idiots.
Small businesses all across the country, the world for that matter, will get crushed.
Your favorite restaurant from two weeks ago will be gone in two months.
This will shake our economy worse than 9/11 and perhaps worse than 1929.
All small business with take a massive hits. We are going to probably have record bankruptcies of small business. Even the big boys will be hit hard, but have the money to somehow survive. I tuned the stinking weather channel to check if we will ever see the sun again down here in Alabama and they were taking about the airline industry taking several billion $$$ in massive hits this year. They showed a tape of Grand Central in NYC from yesterday. There were maybe five or six people walking around in there. They said on Saturday, it is normally packed. Now, nobody was in there, traveling around. No schools, no colleges, no travel, no massive gatherings, no sports, college spring sports canceled, world wide sports shut down, curfews by crazy mayors who think people will be out from 10 pm to 5 a.m., thus the big need to keep those millions home in bed and not out partying. Silly. Most are home in those hours anyway. Walmart closes 10 to 5 also. It is normally not that busy in those hours. One guy I know works a lot in those hours at our local WM and he says they are not that busy anyway. A few 2d shift people stop in on the way home, etc., but not the hordes that come during the day. People are still going to have to shop to eat, pay bills, etc. Cabin fever is going to be the next national crisis!! Millions suffering from beating their heads against their walls!!! Sports nuts going nuts over no ball games. Will have to drink that beer, if they can sneak out and get it before the curfew police catch them!! Enjoy the new life style of 2020 Amerika.
Jeez....my inlaws moved from Ventura Co, CA (TO) 2 years ago and now reside in CDA, ID. They think this thing is still in China and they are immune. They have about every co-morbidity you can imagine and won’t listen to my wife about getting ready for long quarantine. Hell, they aren’t even cancelling their WEEKLY doctor visits...
If you get a chance, try the Cup and Saucer on Blossom Hill, just west of Meridian.
Hey they make these things that would obviate your distress over sitting next to those folks at a coffee shop.

Which cafe was it? The one on State?
What some people call social distancing is solitude to others for not having to put up with so many monkeys and other idiots.
Move to a large city and you can see why the are not the party parade people.
