Between MGM and Wynn both closing all their properties, Vegas is shut down. All schools shut too.
There is simply no reason to keep the lights on.
Vegas is going to dry up and be blown away by the hot desert wind.
There’s 2.5 million people in that valley, and the entire valley relies on tourism and gambling.
Hard choices are being made.

Are you suggesting that people in China, Italy, Iran, France, England, and many other nations all read and watch our news media and then panic? Even though they don't speak English? You are not thinking rationally.
Just watching what other nations are doing should let you know that a serious problem is occurring.
Understanding math is helpful too. Infections that spread easily grow at exponential rates. With a doubling time of a few days the number of cases, and deaths grows very rapidly.
If you do the math you will see that an epidemic like COVID-19 that is left unchecked can result in a great number of deaths and many very sick people.

I just got back last night from a week in Vegas. There are a lot of people in town right now. It’s going to be tough to get them all out.
Yes, it’s something bad. The stock market knows. Some in the government know. Some of us know but we don’t want to believe it’s happening.
Then there are all those people who were told to work from home but are buying up cheap airline tickets and flying around the country spreading the virus.
I have a friend that was at a casino when the word got out it was going to be shutting down.

I cant imagine what it is like in Vegas right now. To be shutting down for two weeks is just unheard of...just the logistics of the whole thing has to be a nightmare
If it is not a Gaming Board decision some of the smaller Casinos could stay open..unless the Governor did a no crowds bigger than X number deal.
These casinos are closing because they don’t want to be sued IF some should get sick there!! The media hit would also be disturbing to them this is being TOTALLY blown out of proportion!!!

Given that I have seen first hand in my family how an immune system can kill you...I will pass on your advice
