Google Calendar comes immediately to mind. It syncs with most standard desktop calendar software.

If Google is not in good odor, there are other similar online platform agnostic systems. However, all users generally have to have accounts with the provider - Google’s is free.

I cal works great for me. Works between microft, gmail for sure. Not sure its truly an app. I use it from Microsoft outlook appointments.
