I think I can help people understand the medical side of this to a great extent.

Watching Laura Ingraham and she is playing clips where Dr Doom is basically setting up the extension into May and June. depressing as hell. We will no longer have a country at that point. If some areas are not opening in May l see no way around a full on depression.

I don’t consider stay at home quarantines for everyone with penalties for violation while having your business shuttered and jobs lost til God knows when to be merely governors and mayors ‘erring on the side of caution’. Today, in a state with relatively few cases, I just learned of the first person I know who is currently in critical condition. There will be a lot more.
Managing this is as much a mass psychology mind game as it is physically managing the outbreak itself. I believe given the nature of man, there is no other way to handle it than what Trump is going.
Now if it were a country of just people like me, or just people like us here ... probably such measures as we're seeing wouldn't be required ... we'd just be smart and get through it. But mankind en masse ... are loony. Things would not turn out well without a strong response.
