The bizarre handling of Coronavirus and the obvious destruction of the United States of America......
I find myself seventy three years old here in Pittsburgh and deeply worried about the present and future of our country.
As the days go by the problems ahead for the nation seem bleaker.
My wife and I are Trump people yet this entire ugly event seems bigger and more evil than even he and his administration can solve.
The quote below sums up the feeling I have about how the American people are being treated. I really cannot see a way out of this. The evil plan to destroy our country seems too big and well planned. I hope I am wrong.

As an aside, one question we might want to ask is, “Are people dying WITH coronavirus, or are people dying FROM coronavirus?
If the virus gives you pneumonia, you died from CCPVirus pneumonia.

I would suggest two things:
1. It is better to be safe than sorry. Many government actions these days might seem extreme. But I don’t see any evil power grabs going on here. It’s much more likely that we are seeing governors and mayors erring on the side of caution.
2. Donald Trump is president. Not Hillary Clinton. And not Barack Obama. We are in very good hands. I trust Donald Trump.

I'm also worried about what is happening to the world's oil supply/price. "Our leaders" are going to have to be careful about that too.
I'm not averse to thinking the end game is upon us.
There is no better way to stop the global raping of the USA then to unleash a global virus.
Yup, I've got my tinfoil hat on: Every single pointed investigation into everything has completely stopped. And will be stopped and relegated to the back of the bus for MONTHS.

There are major parts of this that can be understood. I have been trying for a couple weeks to answer people’s question. I’ll keep trying.
From THAT point of view, to me, the response seems rational and erring on the side of 'anticipate worst rational case.' For example, if the curve overwhelms the healthcare system in a metropolitan area, the behavior of mankind under those circumstances could result in thing much worse than 'the cure that seems worse than the disease.'
The flubros here WILL be able to look back, most likely and say 'see how right I was' -> which is like being a liberal -> easily pointing out an obvious case and pretending that those who don't go entirely along with their plan that is the result of that outlook are therefore in total disagreement with everything they believe. (if you are against affirmative action, you hate black people ... if you think careful measures are indicated by this outbreak, you are a panicker who is going to destroy the country because you are willing to trade your freedome for a little security blah blah blah like we don't all know and understand what that means. The FluBros are like Liberals. Simplistic and Stupid. (I'm not saying you are a FluBro - not at all.)
But consider this: In PART you think the reaction is overblown, panicky. REALLY? And then you title a post THIS?: "Obvious Destruction of the United States of America."

So I don't think you are a FluBro -> but do you see the ... not hypocracy ... but blatant contradiction in how you are seeing things?
YES this reaction is costly. YES it's going to turn out, in HINDSITE, to have been more than was necessary. But we know a lot more today than we did 2 weeks ago, and we will know everything eventually. But these choices had to make partially in the dark and anticipating the worst case.
So my message to you is:
YES all civilizations tend towards the left over time - and require the tree to be watered with blood for freedom to stay strong, or not. That's how it's always been.
Chill out! And be happy Trump's running it and not Obama or Pelosi.
What you're witnessing IS costly. But it's going to be OK, so long as you accept that when dealing with a hoard of mankind, which the US is and so is the world, it's a Sh*tshow. But we are in the least worst country in the world, in good times relative to history, and it's all going to be OK.
