What cities / states have cancelled the “stay home” order? What businesses are opening back up?
Yeah Right. The lockdowns are only just starting. See the thread right below this one about WalMart tightening up. Flyover country is just now starting to understand what NYC already knows.
We ain't seen nothing yet.
I think this article has been projected here from the future. :)
Wishful thinking I fear. I see more and allusions to the next couple of months by admin people. Not good. They have to put way more emphasis on finding ways to open parts of the economy. Health and safety seem to be the ONLY priority. Thousands of businesses are going under. We dont have the means to prop up an entire economy. We put a band aid fir a month but it is not sustainable

Blount County Alabama...Oneonta is hard core flyover country. Most people here have have been doing social distancing for at least two weeks now. Everyone in Walmart politely steer clear of everyone else and it’s obvious they have been “getting it” for two weeks.
Is it against the law to open a restaurant? Few people would go but is it against the law
That’s 31,783 new cases and 1,243 new deaths for the day so far. The remainder of the records will be in, and the totals for the day will be shown later tonight.
This is stuff that should have been in place BEFORE the shut down.
If it wasnt, you were working in a dirty office.
Here in Vegas, restaurants are still open but only for take-out or delivery. Metro cops are looking for non-essential non-compliant businesses and closing them down under emergency order from the County Commissioners. So yes, it's illegal to be open.
thx
Indeed, and thank God you have Trump though I am sure governors will hold back longer. In Canada we have 10 different dopes for 10 provinces that have NO PLAN of return to normalcy. My prediction is the USA will re-open for business and it will take Canada a month or two more to follow. Canada is in even a better position than the USA, Our death rate is a tiny 3 in a million. But the idiots in charge won’t budge.
And Fauci is a big pain the ass, that wouldn’t be happy until we see 50% unemployment before relenting.
It’s a plan to ensure a smooth startup - if they wait until the green light flashes, they waste valuable time making sure they’re actually prepared.
Allowing young people to get infected with the virus would be a very smart thing to add to any strategy. The Spanish Flu mutated into a much deadlier second form. But people who had the first form were still immune to it. Letting people who are extremely likely to survive COVID-19 get it now would build in a very valuable insurance policy against future outbreaks. The elderly and vulnerable are the only ones who should be isolated.
Say what? Missouri is just now enacting stay at home order to last through late April
I wouldn’t be surprised if lists like this came out, and companies had to follow them to get business continuity and general liability insurance renewed.
