Carnival Cruises helped fuel the coronavirus pandemic by still sailing its fleet of ships even when the company's executive knew it was risky, according to a CDC epidemiologist. Cindy Friedman, the epidemiologist who is leading the CDC's coronavirus cruise ship task force, told Bloomberg Businessweek in an explosive interview that the actions of Carnival Cruises amid the pandemic has put a 'huge strain' on the United States.

Carnival’s Chairman is a FOT (Friend of Trump) so likely this is some ankle-biting bureaucrat lashing out.
The Bloomberg byline was my first clue.
“Huge strain on the United States”?
Hardly.
As a percentage it isn’t even 1%.
Headline and story is pure Brit BS. Daily Mail does a pretty good job at American news far superior than most American outlets but even Daily Mail throws garbage out there.
Isn’t that why we have health authorities? If it was unsafe, they should have stopped it not try and blame the company.
