Actually Lookner breaking news just brought up a story about Japan. Big jump. They were just cluster testing. Very few tests done. Some inside Japan predicting big rise.

The lack of mystery about the virus and the obsolescence of propping has devastated this thread.
Well, we did good.
Probably had an influence on Trump’s early closing of Wuhan travelers- a political decision.
And got some people to prep.
Still a need for reporting that isn’t China-owned Western media driven.
But unclear if that bump is ‘first wave’, ‘suppressed first wave’, or ‘second wave’.
Know what I mean? Each case means something different.
If it’s the first wave, it’ll be horrendous. In other cases not such a big deal.
And, besides, my sleep sched is all messed up and FR is all I have for the night hours.

Above is also some information from the Seattle area. A pilot program for home testing of people that think they have symptoms of Covid-19.
I hope that it is a reliable test. Their initial results from about 4,000 people found that only 1.6% of them tested positive for CV-19. That is for people with symptoms!

Me too. I was listening to some Zoom chat for folks with OCD. One of the gals said this CV-19 stuff isn’t too bothersome, but IS messing with her sleep schedule and she stays up all night.
As diligent as I try to be with this virus, I feel sorry for folks with OCD.

coming back from the vet today, heard on the talk radio that my county is opening up drive-up testing to anybody who wants it, appointment still needed. Must not have gotten a whole lot of positives.
But you know, I’m not sure if I want to get tested and risk getting infected at a drive-up site.
I’ve been sequestered since Moses was in diapers it seems, so what’s the purpose for me?
Maybe we should have a ‘not infected ‘column for those whose households greater than (1) haven’t had sickness in 60 days. And all that takes is a phonecall. That should narrow down the field substantially. And cost a whole lot less than trying to test everyone.

out of 151K homeless, Garcetti has placed a whole 2400 in hotel rooms. Now he wants 300 trailers. This is what Los Angeles is getting for how many Millions did he set aside? $150 Million? Not including Fed money? If the military can set up a hospital/shelter in 4 days, why hasn’t Garcetti done the same in 4 weeks? The money went somewhere.

I wonder if good results from Australia are because they are just exiting their summer, and lots of people have fully charged Vitamin D batteries. It will be interesting to see how southern hemisphere countries react in their winter seasons.

what is going on in Iowa? The Sheriff says he’s worried about illegals at the plant catching Covid (maybe he should be catching illegals instead?) and the plant says they have no cases. But they are pressuring Tyson to voluntarily shut down? I don’t get it.
