It is a rare glimpse inside the Chinese laboratory at the centre of mounting inter-national suspicion about the Covid-19 pandemic – and will do nothing to dispel fears that it was caused by a catastrophic leak which has been covered up by Beijing.
Pictures from inside Wuhan’s secretive Institute of Virology show a broken seal on the door of one of the refrigerators used to hold 1,500 different strains of virus – including the bat coronavirus which has jumped to humans with such devastating effect.
The pictures, first released by the state-owned China Daily newspaper in 2018, were published on Twitter last month, before being deleted. One comment attached read: ‘I have seen better seals on my refrigerator in my kitchen.’
The Mail on Sunday revealed a fortnight ago that Ministers now fear that the pandemic could have started as the result of a leak.

I deliver to a LOT of businesses in Rockville, MD. Many are run and staffed by Chinese who are doing genetic work.
Nobody will investigate that and nobody will tell you that.

I was an officer on a Hazmat team for many years. I can tell a few similar tales about some of the crap we responded to which sometimes turned into big problems.
Not to nit-pick but, that is a freezer. Not a fridge.
But, the evidence of a faulty seal is not just the dislodged seal. Evidence of a faulty seal is also the frost build-up on the inner surfaces of the freezer.

R U sure the pic is from the Wuhan level 4 containment lab? If so her PPE is all wrong if she is handling level 3 or level 4 frozen samples. Most biological samples are stored in Vapor phase LN2 not in a -80C freezer.
Ya, see, and to even bring this up will result in screams of ‘RACISM’ from the Democrats.
But this needs to be investigated. Too many foreigners and too many genetic jobs in Maryland staffed by Asians. Yes, I know, seems like a hit job against Asians but it’s not. It’s what I’VE SEEN!!! Why are they all congregating in the DC suburbs?

I think our society has been extremely lucky in so many catastrophes NBC. The next big one may be when luck runs out. A virus can easily wipe the planet’s population out. The WORLD lead by the USA needs to punish the Chicoms which includes telling them to knock it off with the Nuclear testing while they are at it. The American left sucking the Chicom schlong needs to be punished also.
To be fair I don’t believe that seal was ever designed to keep any biological elements from escaping. It is only a refrigeration seal. The vile themselves would contain the seals that mattered. I agree with the idea that photo is probably not even from the level 4 lab because of what she is wearing. If it is from a level 4 containment area then God help us all.
