The so-called “experts” rarely mention this but the fact is coronavirus kills seniors and compromised individuals.
We see this in country after country.

New York leads the nation with 20,354 coronavirus deaths.

In New York State the law required officials to bring COVID-19 patients back to nursing homes.

Official New York policy encouraged infectious COVID-19 patients to be sent back to nursing homes

Reminder: about half of COVID-19 deaths have been nursing home patients

43% of New Jersey deaths also involve nursing homes.

43% of NJ deaths involve nursing homes. In my county, 20% of all cases and a whopping 54% of all deaths are from these homes. In my small town we have 17 dead in one of these facilities. pic.twitter.com/mr6QsLeL3M

In Minnesota 71% of the deaths are in nursing homes.

In Minnesota, 113/160 (=71%) deaths were in nursing homes.https://t.co/7LM24BfZLt

In my county, (not in Minnesota), 83% were.

It happened in the UK too.

Oh. https://t.co/vcmKC4no5c

This is the same policy they used in Italy!
OMG!

This policy seems eerily familiar.https://t.co/ovMTkR8oBN

This proves at least two things.
** Nursing home residents need to be protected
** The rest of America needs to be reopened in most states

If true, that’s a least a manslaughter charge on officials who ordered that.

Just imagine if PDJT had forced such a policy on the states.

This is criminal. Federal regulation prohibit this.

True, and this is not a manslaughter, more toward genocide.

Cuomo deliberately sent cironavirus infected people to okd folks homes to infect them and kill them off in order to inflate his coronavirus dead figures.
Old folks are by far the most vulnerable.

It’s not Cuomo’s job, his job is to show powerpoints and talk about his Mother.

Just so I can understand, what does sent back to nursing homes mean? Were these residents who were released from nursing homes, contracted the virus and then were ordered back to the nursing home?

The Cuomo crime against humanity part of is there were thousands of available, virus certified, beds for these seniors. They could have been social distanced but the state of New York failed.

Don't think for one moment this was not intentional. The leftists wanted, needed the pandemic to be as bad as possible. They were (are) using it as a scare tactic to destroy the economy and try to stop President Trump's MAGA agenda.

The leftists believe the ends justifies the means. They also have deluded themselves into believing they are the smartest people in the room. Therefore, when the end is their assuming greater power and control they believe that justifies any means. Sacrificing a few thousand elderly and infirm? What's that to a party and belief system that openly supports the slaughter of millions of unborn babies?

This was a coldly calculated move to make the pandemic worse.

Cuomo and our legislature ensured that won’t happen. Tucked away in the new budget is a provision protecting nursing homes from civil and criminal liability.

Meanwhile, Fedzilla had changed Medicare regs allowing facilities to refuse to take back WuFlu patients if the situation warranted.

This cluster is ALL on Cuomo and our legislature.

Who also don’t want a discussion on how poorly these facilities were regulated and inspected.

The law of unintended consequences strikes again. The Left never thinks laws through from the perspective of the peons.

That’s the liberal way. People in homes are no longer productive and are big burdens on the healthcare system. This fits right in with Ezekiel Emanuel’s single payer healthcare model.

Or the damage the minimum wage has done to facilities trying to get and retain productive, skilled, trained workers.

Not all of these consequences were unintended. And some, Albany just didn’t give a damn about.

Nah. Cuomo is not quite that devious: He more likely approved/encouraged such policies figuring "We do not have to count CV patients and CV deaths if they die outside the hospital. Therefore, "I" (my policies) look better, and Trump (Trump's policies) look worse when he claims that CV will be a threat!"

New York will within a few years be crowing over reductions in heath care costs (for the elderly).
