Huh, right out of the Andromeda strain. Just seal off the town and let them all perish, right?

Check my math: Gallup: 22,000 people

19 deaths due to chicom virus in the entire county

19 / 22,000 = 0.008 % of people dropping dead from chicom.

what goes here, I thought NM was moving to open up and not so panicked.

Curious...
Gallup; New Mexico; Albuquerque; McKinley County.

Every single one of those names matches exactly with names of places in the United States of America. What are the chances?

Right along Route 66 if I remember the song correctly. But by all means, shut it down for less than 1%.

Somebody at the CDC is going to get in trouble over this. Maybe end up cleaning spill in the Smallpox lab, or doing onsite investigations of deadly diseases in Africa. Telling the truth and embarassing the deep state isn’t a safe thing to do.

"The best defense against this virus, until there is a vaccine, is physical distance from other people."

No, dammit, the best defense against this virus is Dr. Zelenko's Protocol:

1. Any patient with shortness of breath regardless of age is treated.

2. Any patient in the high-risk category even with just mild symptoms is treated.

3. Young, healthy and low risk patients even with symptoms are not treated (unless their circumstances change and they fall into category 1 or 2).

Out-patient treatment regimen is as follows:

1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days

2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days

3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days

New Mexico...

2020 - COVID Deaths - 138

2018 - Influenza Deaths - 365

Michelle Lujan Grisham served as Secretary of Health of New Mexico from 2004 to 2007.

Michelle Lujan Grisham was elected Governor in 2018.

During her 2018 campaign, she never indicated that influenza deaths required a state wide or regional lock down.

COVID deaths - existential threat.

Twice as many Influenza deaths - yawn.

Are you sure you want to defend D'Souza?

Politically Incorrect
One of the guests on the show, in which actors, pundits and the like engage in a kind of town meeting moderated by Maher, was Dinesh D’Souza, an author and former policy analyst during the Reagan administration.
“Bill, there’s another piece of political correctness I want to mention,” D’Souza said at one point. “And, although I think Bush has been doing a great job, one of the themes we hear constantly is that the people who did this are cowards.”
Maher: “Not true.”
D’Souza: “Not true. Look at what they did. First of all, you have a whole bunch of guys who are willing to give their life. None of them backed out. All of them slammed themselves into pieces of concrete.”
Maher: “Exactly.”
D’Souza: “These are warriors. And we have to realize that the principles of our way of life are in conflict with people in the world. And so--I mean, I’m all for understanding the sociological causes of this, but we should not blame the victim. Americans shouldn’t blame themselves because other people want to bomb them.”
Maher: “But also, we should--we have been the cowards, lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That’s cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it’s not cowardly. You’re right.”

Gallup, NM? Stayed there for 3 or 4 nights on a business trip. September, I think. Remember it snowing one morning.

Those are death certificates issued by local governments and recorded by the CDC. If you go back about 10 days, we had about 37k reported deaths.

I know it's hard for freepers to do, but if you go to the site, it explains the data.
