Special Dispatch to the New-York Times. CHARLESTON, Wednesday, May 2. GILMORE's Brass Band made every one homesick this mornning, at the opening of the Convention, by playing "Home, Sweet Home." Mr. FLOURNOY, of Arkansas, after it had got through, jumped upon a chair and called at the top of his voice for three cheers for the Union. All present, ladies included, responded heartily. Then our drooping spirits were revived by "Hail Columbia" and "Yankee Doodle."
