Honduras has 'incredible' results with Hydroxychloroquine for Covid-19 - Trump

United States President Donald Trump stated on Friday the president of Honduras told him the country had "incredible" results in treating COVID-19 with hydroxychloroquine.

The president claimed he saw both positive and negative studies about the usage of the drug, stating, however, tests should be conducted to determine whether hydroxychloroquine should be used.

In addition, Trump denied pressuring anyone to promote the use of the malaria drug, which the country's Food and Drugs Administration warned shouldn't be used for the treatment of COVID-19 outside of a controlled environment.

Dr. Zelenko in this latest video, also referred to the Honduran success:

However, other than this small piece of news, I don't see any mainstream news outlet reaching out to the Hondurans to verify this.

Apparently, the only thing Honduras is worth reporting about are their caravans coming to the USA illegally.

I remember when Honduras stood up to President Obama very early in his first term, when he was pressuring them to let their president illegally stay in office (he was a leftist compared to his successor). Considering how poor and small they are, I was impressed. If they had caved, they might be in a Venezuela type situation, only without oil.

Surely there is some research entity that’s not been bought by Big Pharma or Big DS that could document HCQ’s effectiveness.

RE: Surely there is some research entity that’s not been bought by Big Pharma or Big DS that could document HCQ’s effectiveness.

NYU Grossman School of Medicine is one of those who did a more thorough and objective study that INCLUDED Zinc as many successful physicians have done. See here:

https://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2020/05/12/nyu-study-looks-at-hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycin-combo-on-decreasing-covid-19-deaths

Other than that, most documented successes are NOT from formal studies but from Practicing Doctors everywhere.

And the MSM will consider these successes as “anecdotal”.

No studies have been done to replicate what Doctor Vladimir Zelenko, who made his Hydroxychloroquine + Z Pack + Zinc Protocol well known, did except the one that he organized with St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, Long Island, which as of the posting of this video, just started. We won’t have results for another two or three months. Dr. Zelenko’s study will be ( as far as he knows ) the first reporting of outcomes from purely OUTPATIENT application of his cocktail.

It will be a retrospective analysis, NOT a double blind clinical trial. He intends to show a 99% reduction in death and hospitalization in EARLY ( emphasis ) treatments using HCQ + Azithromycin + Zinc based on the dosage that he has seen work.

He intends to show that the data he presents will have MORE information than the data from vaccines being currently developed and/or Remdesivir.

“”” Their study provides the first evidence through patients that zinc sulfate in combination with the other two drugs may have a role in the treatment of Covid-19, the doctors said. Their study was posted on Friday in a database for medical research but has not been peer-reviewed yet. “””

They explained that they used hydroxychloroquine for this, but never azithromycin (an antibiotic for respiratory infections) due to the associated cardiac complications,” Ruiz said. Interesting and no mention of zinc either
