YouTube is deleting any comment containing 五毛 (50 Cent Army, the social media wing of CCP propaganda). Tried it myself on my own video, comment promptly disappeared.
the last thing that Google (parent company of YouTube) wants is for anything to upset their Chinese overlords as they work on AI projects with the ChiCom military.
And the last thing that the ChiComs wants is wider distribution of something reminiscent of, but with far greater distribution, thanks to the single man standing in front of a column of tanks at Tienanmen Square.

Oh great... now your explanation of 50 Cent Army is pretty much the opposite of that made in post #6. This thread is offically screwed.
I believe that YT does this, but it just seems like a really dumb thing for them to do. More evidence that Leftists are really dumb.
Not at all. YouTube is owned by Google which is owned by Alphabet. Google is developing AI applications with the ChiCom military, against the interests and welfare of the people of the United States of America. The last thing they want is for the ties between Google and the Chinese military to be widely revealed.

Thank you. Very interesting.
Thats what I wrote. Youre more verbose, but I provided all those points.
On different sites that have open comments you’ll sometimes see someone called a 50 center.
Okay, so...Im trying to figure this out for some reason. Is YouTube deleting content that mentions 50 cent army because thats a pejorative name for the organization? And the 50 cent army is an organization that censors YouTube content negative toward the CCP?
The original poster made two mistakes. The first was the headline which contains Chinese characters which FR can't process. It made the post look incoherent. The second was he assumed people would know the background and understand the post. Many people were naturally confused.
You'll have to discuss with the original poster what he meant because I've been told I got it all wrong.
Yes but in a pity way that lacked enough details in the original headline and post for people not familiar with the issue to understand.
Unlike others I didn't mock you or humiliate you for a post many people found confusing.
There was no intent of malice. I was trying to help you.
Best regards.
Thanks. I give up.
We all make mistakes.
[Since YT cannot be accessed in China why would YT do this? It isnt like they get any advertising money from the PRC.
I believe that YT does this, but it just seems like a really dumb thing for them to do. More evidence that Leftists are really dumb.]
