The wife of the white police officer who was seen kneeling on George Floyd's neck during a fatal forgery arrest had previously been charged herself for writing a bad check, DailyMail.com can disclose.
Police were called to Cup Foods convenience store in Minneapolis on Monday night after a cashier claimed Floyd had used a fake $20 bill.
During the arrest, officer Derek Chauvin was filmed kneeling on Floyds neck for an agonizing eight minutes while he pleaded that he couldnt breathe, later dying.
DailyMail.com has learned Chauvins wife Kellie, a former Mrs. Minnesota America winner, was charged with writing a bad $42 check in February 2005.

Kellie had worked as a radiologist at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, which is the same hospital where Floyd was pronounced dead.
She told the outlet: 'He's such a gentleman. He still opens the door for me, still puts my coat on for me. After my divorce, I had a list of must-haves if I were ever to be in a relationship, and he fit all of them.'
The former radiologist, who now works as a realtor with Re/Max Results, told the paper she fled Laos with her family as a child and came to America as a refugee.

Yesterday, I found an article about her when she was the Mrs. Minnesota...That article gave out the home address of the couple...
I don't think it is a good idea to give out anybody's home address on internet...I don't know what the writer was thinking...
“I don’t think it is a good idea to give out anybody’s home address on internet...I don’t know what the writer was thinking...”
too late, everyone in that area knows it
I do.
Interesting. So “racist white-supremacist” cop is married to a Laotian woman?
“I don’t think it is a good idea to give out anybody’s home address on internet...I don’t know what the writer was thinking...”
Sounds like he wanted everyone to know where the cop lives.
Oh oh
No one goes from being a Radiologist, the highest paid medical profession of them all, to become a realtor. Sounds fishy.

WOW! Wrote a check on “insufficient funds”!
OMG! Who has never done that? EVERYONE who ever had a checking account has done so. By error OR design.
Oh, btw, “she eventually paid the money and the case was dismissed “
What does his WIFE have to do with this? What does the fact that she was a pageant winner have to do with this?
Let’s just wait for the facts! “Just the facts, ma’am, Just the facts”
The left is not content with the justice system. They’re going to destroy the cop and his family too.
Just as an aside, as a cashier I have run into fake $20s. We never called the cops, we just handed back the fake bill and asked for an alternative payment effort. The reason for that was because there are far more victims of counterfeiting than counterfeiters. The chances are good that the person has already been defrauded. There was one exception when the woman yelled at us and threatened us and tried to pull do you know who I am?! It was clear she knew she was passing fake money, but she fled before we could call the cops.
I have seen counterfeit money for sale on Wish, and that sort of thing should be shut down and prosecuted if possible.
I’m curious about a radiologist becoming a real estate broker....
you'd think a responsible journalist would NOT be posting her pic....she nor any children she might have are not involved in any way with the "incident"...
This is not a comment on the cop or what he did - but this is really yellow, low-class, sensationalist journalism. The cops wife bounced a small check, one-time, 15 years ago, and thats supposed to prove what, exactly???
“””No one goes from being a Radiologist, the highest paid medical profession of them all, to become a realtor. Sounds fishy.”””””
If you worked at HCMC you might understand.
I was wondering about that too. Is it possible that in the UK they call a radiology technician (i.e., someone who’s typically completed a community college-level program to operate the x-ray machine & scanners) a “radiologist” (i.e., a term used in the U.S. for medical doctor specializes in using said equipment for diagnosis and/or treatment) ?
I would just do without the racist charge and just ask if what he did was justified, but you do realize that “racist” doesn’t necessarily mean “White supremacist,” right? You can be “racist” against one group without hating other groups that aren’t your own.
Radiologic. A community college associate degree.

Answer: yes, just like they refer to aircraft mechanics as “Engineers”.
It’s hilarious.
She’s a Radiology tech, the nice lady who turns on the machine and hides out behind the shield.
