Protesters demonstrating against the death of George Floyd, a handcuffed black man who pleaded for air as a white police officer pressed his knee on his neck, targeted Confederate monuments in multiple cities. As tense protests swelled across the country Saturday into Sunday morning, monuments in Virginia, the Carolinas, Tennessee and Mississippi were defaced. The presence of Confederate monuments across the South — and elsewhere in the United States — has been challenged for years, and some of the monuments targeted were already under consideration for removal. The words “spiritual genocide,” along with red handprints, were painted on the sides of a Confederate monument on the University of Mississippi campus Saturday, The Oxford Eagle reported. One person was arrested at the scene.

Or maybe they just want someone to be arrested for his “murder”... oh, wait. Someone was.

If there’s something that’s going to piss of a White Supremacist you can be sure Confederate Memorials are top o’the list.
They will destroy everything of the past if given the chance. When will people realize what is going on and fight back?
Anyone who burns down their neighborhood and loots is as dumb as is possible. The average IQ for that race is well below room temperature.
Thy are led by the same people who caused so many problems in the 60s. They took over the schools and have poisoned several more generations.
Louisville removed their Confederate statues a while back. How peaceful has that city been??????????? There is no end game for these thugs, they always have new demands.

CSA monuments are soft targets. Bet most who do this are not black—Liberal Democrats—more wanting to unseat Trump than seek reforms or justice.
