LOUISVILLE, Ky—At the Express Consignment Operations hubs in Louisville U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized a shipment from China that contained over 10,000 Assault Weapons parts being smuggled into the country. Firearm Seizure

The shipment was seized on May 22. Officers inspected the item, which was arriving from Shenzhen, China, destined for a residence in Melbourne, Florida. The parcel was manifested as containing 100 Steel Pin Samples. This is a common practice of smugglers manifesting the contraband as a harmless or a legitimate commodity in hopes of eluding further examination.

From China, heh.

I’m sure they were headed for flag waving “ deplorables “ from flyover country, and not the ransacking mobs.

Do we know anything about the people in Melbourne expecting delivery? I would not be surprised if they were BLM.

I wonder what parts they were. Roll pins are vital parts of a modern sporting rifle.

How’d they get all the way to Louisville?

Anyway, I bet that’s just the tip of the iceberg. No telling how much stuff China has been sending here of late. I’m sure that they and the DNC would love to supply a full army of marxists to destroy this country.

My guess (via Wikipedia)

Worldport is the worldwide air hub for UPS (United Parcel Service) located at the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport. Although UPS has had a hub at Louisville since 1980, the term was not used officially by the company until 2002, after a $1 billion, five-year expansion.[19] Previously, the project was named Hub 2000. The facility is currently the size of 5.2 million square feet (48 ha; 80 football fields) and capable of handling 115 packages a second, or 416,000 per hour.[20] With over 20,000 employees, UPS is one of the largest employers in both the city of Louisville and the Commonwealth of Kentucky as a whole. The facility, which serves all of the company's major international and domestic hubs, mainly handles express and international packages and letters.

A bunch of springs and pins, screws and bolts, mostly.

One easily carried box, less than 1/10th of an ounce each.

The commercial demand for guns is outrunning the supply.

You got that right.
When I got to work this morning I was surprised to find there was no line and when I remarked about it to a co-worker, he replied, “there are no guns”.
The cabinets are nearly empty.
As soon as the warehouse processed new arrivals, the lines formed and did not abate all day. We got a big shipment of Taurus’ and Rugers.
Pretty much out of Glocks, Sigs, Springfields, Caniks, FNs.
Still have CZs and Berettas and revolvers.
We’ve been doing 200+ a day, every day, since the rioting started.
When we get handgun ammo in we have to sequester it behind the counter so we have one box per gun sold to sell.

Small import and online retail businesses are very numerous and common in Florida.
