I call those two classes sheep and wolves. I tend to watch for aware people and keep an eye on them. Wife has also picked up the skill somewhat. Skill got quite honed in Israel, most tend to be situationally aware when suicide bombers are thrown in the daily mix.

I must admit I am more lax these days since I came home. A band of ferrals are easier to spot than a Jihadi in the mix.

You can often spot other wolves, but it’s the fidgety ones that are dangerous.

A lot of my buddies went on to be cops, a lot of them nearing retirement. Too bad that at the end their careers they are getting treated as outcasts.

My father was a police officer. He was treated bad during the late 60’s and early 70’s. I remember getting into fights with kids who called my dad a pig, and that coming from white kids.

Be glad they are near retirement, instead of halfway through a 20-year stint (looking at 10 years of being treated lower than crap). Those same Dem politicians that bought police union votes with ridiculous salary and retirement packages are regretting that now that their most experienced cops are leaving (many before reaching the age of 50).

Interesting article about young females getting hit by job losses; so many have been hired to replace men in the workplace it would seem inevitable. I work with far fewer men than women in an office, and every guy left is there because of the value he brings. Many of the women are there because they knew somebody at my job when they lost their last jobs elsewhere.

Can’t they just avoid difficult situations? During the high crime years, I’ve read that was why NYC turned into such a dump despite have a surplus of cops per square mile - cops who weren’t allowed to do their jobs basically slacked off.

Public schools were segregated the entire time I went to 1-12 school. Wonderful.

Interesting site. I expected at larger title at the top. Took a few seconds to figure out the numbers at the top. I expected to be able to click on the categories over each number to view all those articles. I eventually found the drop down selection on the right.

I like the single column layout, and the lack of a two minute refresh. That refresh drives me crazy on LibertyDaily. The grouping of layoff articles was an eye opener.

Recommendations:
1. make articles open on a new page, so we don’t have to click back to your site.
2. show the article date to the right of the title.
3. put a ‘Next page’ button the bottom.
4. allow firearm advertisements to fund your site.
