The City was resonant with the sound of martial music on Saturday, The parades of the Eighth Regiment, receiving the Seventh on their return from Camp Scott; of the Sixth to receive the Chicago Zouaves, or United States Cadets, and the wonderful drill of the last-named in the Park, in the afternoon, kept the City alive with excitement the entire day. DESCRIPTION OF THE ZOUAVES. The Chicago Zouaves, or Governor's Guard of Illinois, is an independent military Company, which has been in existence but fourteen months, comprising all told, about a hundred men. The names of those who participate in this excursion, are as follows: -- OFFICERS -- E.E. ELLSWORTH, Colonel Commanding; J.R. Scott, First Lieutenant; H.D. Laflin, Second Lieutenant; Charles De Villters, Surgeon; J.B. Taylor, Paymaster; Hayden, Orderly Sergeant; Knox, second; Wetherell, Quartermaster Botsford, Color Sergeant; Nevins, Bugler; Ross, Guide.
