My Daughter Had 2K Drained From Her Debit Account and she reported it within 12 hours. According to EFT Rules She Should Only Be Liable For $50. Key Bank is Not Paying. WHAT NEXT?? HELP!!!

I had that happen to me once. it was drained in a resort in Mexico. I had proof I was not there my $ was fully restored. Have her ask for supervision at her bank

That doesn’t make sense. You make a challenge to a charge to an account and the bank will take some time to investigate it. Usually 10-45 days, depending on your bank’s stated policy.

Normally you can request an investigation through a bank's website for fraudulent charges or withdraws. Start with that if you haven't already.
Best to do everything in writing/over the internet so that you have readily available records.
Allow the bank time to respond. If it's not resolved to your satisfaction, see if there is an appeals process. If so, follow it. If appeal is denied, then I'd start making calls right up the line starting with the branch manager.
Be sure you have your story straight ... and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING including phone calls. This is how I would start out.

1. File a Written Fraud Dispute with the bank.
2. They are required to return the unauthorized debits back to the account while they investigate.
3. It’s really that simple.

She should tell the Bank’s manager that by noon tomorrow, if the fund’s aren’t re-instated, she goes to the local TV stations for consumer warnings about their bank.

My wife and I have both had this happen to out Key accounts. Both times Key took care of everything and it did not cost us a dime, not even for the new cards they had to send us.
