OK then how about one or both of you strap in the Drivers seat on a 90+ degree, high humidity day while wearing a 3 layer NOMEX Fire Suit, NOMEX Long Underwear, Shoes with strap on Heat Shields to help protect your feet from the Exhaust System running Red-hot underneath the floorboard, a Balaclava (not Baklava Pastry) on your Head then put on a Fullfaced Helmet with a Visor, NOMEX Driving Gloves on your Hands.
Now Start the 800 HP Engine and while it's coming up to temperature look to the right to see the right side window is in place while your Car Chief puts up the tightly woven Window Net on the Drivers window that doesn't let much airflow in the Car. Now pull out of the Pit Road with the other 39 Cars and do a few Warm Up laps and Pace Laps. Then take the Green Flag and be part of the Pack of cars running inches from each other at 180+ MPH. Then after a few Race Laps and things reach temperature and while you can't see the Thermometer mounted on the right Headrest on your seat the TV in car camera shows the in Cars inside Temp to be 140F Degrees. And you have only completed 12 of 500 Laps, your Drink Bottle is already going from Icy cold to Warm and will soon be Hot as the inside car temp.
As well toss in the G-Forces of 2-4 in the Turns so a 180 Lb Driver feels like He/She weighs 360-720 lbs 4 times per Lap for 500 Laps (2000 times).
Now of course a Pit Stop kinda lets you get a break, for 12-15 Seconds from the G-Forces while holding the Brakes on and Steering Wheel strait and waiting for the Jack to drop and/or hearing the Crew tell you to GO-GO-GO while Praying that your are not involved in a wreck...
So next time you are out playing Flog/Cow Pasture Pool and sipping on a cold brewskie maybe you'll rethink your comments.
