And where do you think Article V comes from? Do you honestly believe that only congress should be able to write amendments? Allowing the states to write amendments is quintessential federalism.

If it wasn't for Article V, we would not have the 2nd Amendment, or the Constitution, for that matter.
That's only part of the problem. It's the people who count the votes that is the remainder of it.
