Black conservatives in New Mexico decry BLM, systemic racism

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Two Black conservatives in New Mexico do not feel like they are being heard in the debate about systemic racism and policing.

Retired businessman Jewll Powdrell of Rio Rancho, and Dr. Larry Allen, a pastor in Albuquerque, have both been a part of New Mexico's history.

"I was the first Black New Mexico State Police officer," Dr. Allen said.

Powdrell said he worked at IBM as one of the first Black salesman they hired in Albuquerque.

Both Dr. Allen and Powdrell said politicians who lump the entire Black community into one voting block are making a mistake.

"We all don't look alike nor do we all think alike," Powdrell said.

"When I go into Black communities, they would dare not say they voted for a Republican or for president Donald Trump because they would feel like they would be outcasts," Dr. Allen said.

Both men denounce the Black Lives Matter-- a group calling attention to the killings of Black people by police officers.

"BLM- hey do not represent me," Dr. Allen said. "I don't think they represent most Blacks."

Both men also oppose any efforts to defund the police.

The idea, embraced by some American cities, calls on re-allocation of resources within local police departments to create more funding to assist mental health populations.

The headline makes it seem like they are against systemic racism, but the article says they see some individual racists but nothing systemic.

“Both Dr. Allen and Powdrell said politicians who lump the entire Black community into one voting block are making a mistake.”

“”When I go into Black communities, they would dare not say they voted for a Republican or for president Donald Trump because they would feel like they would be outcasts,” Dr. Allen said.”

It seems that many in the black community are trying to make the first statement true. How many? 50% 70%, 90%?

Prepare yourselves for two things:

a) A massive vote for Trump from blacks, and

b) A landslide for Trump that is historic- in top 1-3 electoral votes

Yet [you] must vote

Because if you're black what you want to do is give the whole country reasons to like you more by burning down inner cities, rioting, working with terrorists and attacking the police. That will show everybody that all the racist views they had were wrong.

If you are a thinking hardworking black person guess what all those white people who you used to think hated you but really didn't now they really don't like you and are going to be so insincere to you to boot.

When it all boils down to it who was kicking America when it was sick? Nobodies going to remember that?

Black America by their complicity with BLM is going to make racism way worse in this country. More gifts from the Obama years.

If I'm a small business and I can hire a black guy or a some other type of guy. I can't fire the black guy with out significant risk if it turns out he ain't cutting it. The type of guy I can fire if they don't work out no questions asked: white guy. Bad hires can screw your business. All this terrorism and rioting has made it too risky for small businesses to hire blacks if they can avoid it. BLM has given many people, racist and otherwise, good reasons to steer clear of black America.

Blacks are Moving from ignored to avoided - As stupid as it is pointless just like Obama presidency, just a bunch of trash talk in the street no real accomplishment other then tearing others down
