Salton Sea is a LOOOOOONG way from SF.
This one is already stronger than those, although not by much (4.6 vs 4.3). Hopefully it will settle down just like those.
I think Trump would do a far better job than anyone who came before him.
But if you want to wish a corrupt, mismanaged, debacle on CA in that event, feel free.

The Ridgecrest cluster and the Mina/Coaldale cluster slightly suggest the Owens Valley is going to open up.
Historically there is a history of a lot of vulcanism in that valley...

Yes Bob, USGS does ignore Duchsinse. He is more accurate and he does it for free.
Important to note that San Andreas fault ends North of Salton Sea and then another fault (name?) starts south of Salton Sea.
