Still surprised they didn’t name the then newly discovered fault line in Haiti the Bush’s Fault.

Oh here we go again.
Just like that broad on youtube saying that Yellowstone is gonna blow any day now.
The latest from that broad has her saying that magma is just 600 feet under ground. Well...HELL YA IT IS. There is always tiny pockets scattered in volcanoes like that. How the hell does that woman think the Thermal system works?
Yet I havent seen that woman reporting on the Long Valley Caldera where the magma is actually higher than the valley floor in the mountains around there.
There will be earhquakes-some small, some large. But none will compare to the one that will eventually hit the northwest. I.E. the Japan earthquake.
Volcanoes will erupt, but none will equal the Yellowstone if it super erupts in modern history. BTW, Yellowstone has a larger history of smaller eruptions-like the one that formed the West Thumb of the lake there.

NC: Pfft... 4.0? That’s nothing’ Why I remember the time a massive 5.1 rumbled through the mountains down to the sandhills. A quiet Sunday morning, shook me outta bed! A real wiggler that one was...

All the antifa types, BLMers, cancel culture creeps and assorted socialists should go to the San Andreas fault ASAP to protest the name. It is named for the evil white Chrisian patriarch, Andrew the Apostle (Greek: Ἀνδρέας Andreas), also called Saint Andrew. As we all know, he was an apostle of Jesus according to the New Testament and Saint Peter's brother. Therefore the fault celebrates Christianity. Maybe they could hold a bible-burning right on top of the fault in protest.

We are not Cali. Since Salton Sea is in the southern half of California, your title should be Heads up SoCal. I despise Cali. I am sure many of us SoCals despise it as well. I moved from SoCal to Connecticut. Everyone here says "Cali". Probably because they think Californians use the term. They also say "Frisco". So annoying.

SoCal? I thought we were El Norte Mexicano. ;-)

And I’m certain that the Salton Sea was named after someone like Jedediah Aloysius Salton who owned slaves, beat his wife, and ostracized his gay son.

There were a string of 4.3-5.3s from China back around to North Carolina Saturday- Sunday IIRC the largest was on the Mid-Atlantic ridge.

Head for the hills! The Salton Sea may become an extension of the Gulf of Cortez! Read _The Big One_ by Kevin E. Ready. It's a ripping good read, pun intended.

Then I have to run to the top of the Y trail yelling Doh every time my left foot strikes the ground :) But what do I win if I’m right?
