President Donald Trump on Friday gave the Chinese company ByteDance 90 days to divest itself of any assets used to support the popular TikTok app in the United States.
Trump’s executive order said there is “credible evidence that leads me to believe that ByteDance … might take action that threatens to impair the national security of the United States.”

As I reported on June 23, Apple has fixed a serious problem in iOS 14, due in the fall, where apps can secretly access the clipboard on users’ devices. Once the new OS is released, users will be warned whenever an app reads the last thing copied to the clipboard. As I warned earlier this year, this is more than a theoretical risk for users, with countless apps already caught abusing their privacy in this way.

I certainly foresee left-wing judges running interference, but issues of national security are eminently enforceable by the executive branch.

I am so frustrated that I can’t ROOT my Samsung S10 (American version (SnapDragon).. EU version can be rooted, because different chip-set)..
Their security is called Knox, which makes it impossible to root and install your own OS (I want Lineage, which is the android OS without the spy/bloatware.. essentially stripped down to bare bones with access to the nicer and actual needed apps and hardware).
