In Seattle, they did win. And if I was this kid, I’d look for another job and THEN resign. Of course, I would never have pursued the job because what is happening in Seattle regarding Police and the city’s leadership now only exposes how I’ve seen it for decades.
I could not be a cop because after seeing perp after perp that I arrested getting let off, I’d eventually start meeting out my own justice. So it’s best that I don’t do it.

This officer is getting out and he’s right. The rioters won because the politicians turned their backs on their own law enforcement officers. No matter how you calculate it there’s no question. So now if the populations of those locations reelect the same politicians then frankly they deserve what they get.

Because he said what thousands of working street police are saying to each other and their families every day.
The officer at least expressed his opinion openly, knowing that he is leaving the department on his own terms.

The cop was trolling the ANTIFA/BLM guy. And that’s when the protestor’s filth was released.
Now, he’s a civilian — and feels free to take the action he so wanted to do as a police employee.

The brother of a friend of mine is resigning from the police department just shy of qualifying for the pension. He said he is fed up and refuses to put up with it any more. He is in Illinois.
He can get a job in a place run by normal humans instead of democrats.
I mourn for these good citizens, these men and women who are constantly abused, ridiculed, lied about, etc. They overwhelmingly do an excellent job under extremely stressful conditions. They protect those who hate them. How long could any decent person exist under these conditions? We are going to experience very bad things as a society if our good police keep resigning. Who will take their spot? Let your imagination and knowledge of history answer this question....it’s not a good scene we are being set up for.
The officer feels the great relief of having made the decision to remove to a civilized place, where he can watch Seattle become Mogadishu, with no tax base, and the scum feeding on each other. The Seattle public voted for this, so they own it (collectively of course, comrade). I hope the cop makes his 2 months without injury.
