More about ducks than you want to know. This is not safe for work and it is not safe for children, but it is pretty funny. You really don’t want to channel your ‘inner duck’.

The 2,000-year-old remains of a dog with its fur still intact have been found at a Roman fort.
The rare find was made at Vindolanda, Hexham, near Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland, and has been sent for analysis to determine the dog's breed... It must be Wallter, because one thing about these old guys.. they never leave the house without their hair.

It’s motto was “Serenity Now!”
It was found in Vindolana Phase III.
BTW I’m in Pensacola. How far is that from Del Boca Vista? I may want to retire down here!

I have seen dogs like that along the Interstate.

Wish I’d had the chance to get to Vindolanda during my two trips to the UK, but there’s never enough time to do all the things you want to do. Too old now. I’ll have to settle for news articles instead.

So the Romans coined the phrase, “hair of the dog,” for the morning after?

Other finds included an 1,800-year-old skull of a beheaded native Briton that was stuck on a spike...
Sorta want to hear more about that...who cares about ducks n dogs....

The Romans had a tough time bringing culture and sophistication to the Brits. The Britons head on a stake was probably the best place for it.

Shhh. Ducks run the planet. That's why we all use the World Wide Webbed, it's how they keep track of what we're doing.

Red Forman is a bear, but his son Eric is a duck. In some crazed spinout of fake logic, that means Red's the real King Arthur (Rth=bear in Welsh, Ursa=bear in Latin).

The first (and only) time I saw a couple of wild ducks engaged in the wild thing, I was struck by how violent it was. Sure, they look fluffy and cute and walk adorably, but they're really a bunch of sadomasochists.
