Paunchy former New Jersey governor Chris Christie once threatened to sit on Mike Bloomberg — during a bizarre, jealous rant involving the Queen of England.
The asinine threat is alleged in former governor David Paterson’s dishy new memoir, “Black, Blind & in Charge.”
It was July 8, 2010. Paterson was leading New York and Christie was the Garden State’s top exec as they awaited the arrival of Queen Elizabeth at Ground Zero, where the royal was to lay a wreath. […]

Christie backed down when the pre-stomach stapled Nadler threatened to sit on New Jersey.
Recent video shows Nadler’s staples may be popping.
It is very funny now that I’ve learned the context. Therefore it must have been meant in jest. So mote it be.
Reminds me of Joan rivers commenting on fashion police regarding some starlet swinging around in some short tight skirt. She said:

Why did Obama tell the sitting black Governor to step down and let Andrew run for Governor?
It’s faint praise but David Paterson was and would have been would have been a better governor than Cuomo.
Too bad he didn’t.
