It was a subcontractor to the Corps of Engineers. They'll invoke sovereign immunity and pay burial expenses.
Yeah. Ouch!
Wow. I have been to that beach many times, but not since lockdown. Just horrible.
Had to be an ACME D9 driven by a tall skinny bird. Beep Beep. It happemed to the coyote frequently.
“You would think someone would have awakened her, but she was probably socially distancing.”
They did.
Thanks. I am trying to picture in my head how you could have missed her looking around. If she was that intoxicated she may have been there for a while and not after he looked.
That usually are so cautious blocking off large areas when using any equipment. I guess maybe we will find out with further updates.
Thanks again
lol....The victims family will file a lawsuit for millions and win and there will be multiple entities named in the lawsuit. Bet on it.
Cause of Death: CATERPILLAR-D9.

A D9 is a bulldozer, that is a newer front-end loader.
Grunion run?
The loader operator carrying a big load of pipe cannot see much in front of him and should have had a spotter checking - that is a safety violation in most states
Dreadful. RIP.
Yep, all the way.
We just had a construction worker in our area get killed. Another guy operating a steam roller didn’t see him. Those vehicles sit so high it is difficult to see object close to them.
When I was 7 in 1955 my Mom and Aunt took my cousins, sister and I on a beach camping trip to Oceanside. Just before we got there our ‘54 Ford died. Not long later a nice Marine stopped and diagnosed the problem as a bad fuel pump, went and bought a new one and returned with tools and got us back on the road. Been a Marines fan ever since!
Wow, now that’s an obscure reference. If Johnny Carson were still alive we’d know ahead of time when the grunion were running.

Prayers to the victim’s family...
LMAO!
Her family should get as much as Breonna Taylor’s family, $12 million.
I used to smoke grunions but I quit because I had trouble keeping them lit.
As a loader owner on our property, I can vouch for your comment. When carrying large objects, the operator’s visibility is often limited to the peripheral areas (the side windows) and has to judge where the vehicle is going based on the land marks on each side of the loader.
Any object directly in front of the loader will get trampled.
