That's a shame.
I spent a lot of time on Oceanside Beach during the early 1980s when I was stationed at Camp Pendleton. Used to walk there from my barracks at 21 Area.
Good memories there. They had a decent library as well.

We just had a construction worker in our area get killed. Another guy operating a steam roller didn’t see him. Those vehicles sit so high it is difficult to see object close to them.
