A common trick of the MSM used to be to ask one Republican if they would "denounce" what another Republican said, dishonestly representing what was actually said.
Dim-witted virtue-signalling Republican clods would always take the bait, and bloviate some pompous comment that would become the news story.
This is exactly what they are doing with the "failure to denounce white supremists" lie
Now they don't seem to be as coordinated and nimble here. If what Tim Scott said was reported correctly, (and who knows if that is the case,) then Tim should have had the information to say: "He did denounce white supremacists" or at least deflected the issue until he could get the facts.
I only denounce pubs with no beer.
It doesnt take much
They suckered the President into denouncing the Proud Boys tonight on Hannity.
He admitted he didn’t know anything about them.
That actually makes it worse.
I’m not saying Tim was dim-witted, I live the guy, but let’s get everyone on the same page. Like that dim-witted Linseed Grahamcracker.
Is the leader if the Proud Boys a black Cuban? Also didn’t a proud boys group and a BLM group have a joint press conference to denounce racism, like the last day or two? That is not devisive, that could help bring people together.
Those stories might as well be happening on Pluto.
Get it together, people.
They are multi-ethnic and very pro-American.
Unforced error on Trump’s part.
He should never denounce anyone without knowing anything about them.
They can go to ale.
So very very easy to do. Republican Politician’s default mode is abject cowardice and or abject cluelessness. The ones who do not fall into the former categories are NWO / RINO’s and NeoCons.
President Trump disrupted all of that. And, they hate him and all those that voted for him (US) with a white-hot passion.
Cats chasing a laser pointer.
Chris Wallace asked Donald Trump about denouncing white suppremicists. Perfectly legitimate, and Mr. Trump did exactly that, explicitly. But that was four years ago, during a Republican primary debate.
Asking the question again is a slimy insinuation which would shame any decent person. But apparently Wallace - and the entire Washington press corps - are not decent people.
With them, slimy insinuations are SOP.
