Damn, didn’t think of that. Last thing you need is two pissed off armed women.
Got some numbers for you behind the link. Second Amendment rights should be more of a major part of the presidential and Senate campaigns. Rifles are only the first target for confiscation by the Democrats. They plan to move on to confiscating pistols and hinder ammunition supply, too, BTW.

The whole term Weapon of War!!!! (You have to say it breathlessly for dramatic effect) is hyper emotional claptrap.
A musket that is 250 years old could be a weapon of war.
A K-bar knife is a weapon of war.
A .38 caliber victory revolver is a weapon of war.
So what? Its just trying to make it sound scary to the ignorant.
Kinda like calling a semi automatic an assault rifle. No its not BY DEFINITION.....and no Im not going to accept Websters new definition to try to fit the political slogans of gun grabbers.
Thank you!
Lots of ammo choices in the builds.
Any thoughts on choosing?
Are some easier to find than others?
All of them? I think there were 55 signers of the Declaration of Independence. I can't possibly store that many AR15s without purchasing at least one more gun safe.
As per comment #63, my thought would be “A.”
No point. We'd just take it boating like we did with the rest of our ARs.
Personal thoughts. Stick to 5.56, because that is what the gun was designed for and the ammo is cheaper. After your first AR15 then branch out to other calibers according to your desire. But remember that there are sometimes issues with other calibers. For instance, I bought an AR upper for 7.62x39. When I first tried it, it would not go bang even though that primer had a significant dent. After doing a little reading, I found out that I needed a stronger trigger spring, because the Russian/Eastern European 7.62x39 primers are milspec and much harder.
If this is your first AR15, I would get a basic 5.56 carbine, because they are the cheapest, you can change out parts/enhance as money becomes available, every problem has been documented (so if you have a problem it is easy to troubleshoot) and if you decide that you don't want it you can easily sell it or keep it in the closet.
One of the fun with AR15s is it is the leggo of rifles, you can swap out pieces parts and major assemblies with little trouble. Since it was designed many moons ago, the design is off patent. Consequently, most parts are cut on CNC machine, thus interchangeable between maunfacturers (but some manufacturers have better quality control than others).
For Ammo, go to Ammoseek.com. Ammoseek is a web browser for ammo and reloading supplies.
Lastly, If you want to get into serious target shooting, it is best to spend the money and get a rifle that has been hand tuned (bolt and chamber mated, gas tube centered, etc... ). Your generic AR15 can easily group 4 MOA with any type of ammo, but to get in target country you need at least 1 MOA with target ammo.
Covers silencers, suppressors, 80% silencers, mass ownership.
Knife Rights say they are the Second Front on restoration of the Second Amendment.
Thank you very much! Thats what I was looking for.
Thanx for the link. Good essay.
(using a good scope and bench rest)
The accuracy of stock rifles and ammo has increased amazingly.
The voters need to take advantage of a golden opportunity to get rid of Dick Durbin this year. They would be foolish not to do it.
