He had to be down by contact, when the ball got loose back behind the 20 and there was a pile/scrable for the ball.
I didn’t see what the penalty was, but that probably negated the play too.
But to be honest, I wish the touchdown had counted. It would have made the play that much more epic.

Look earlier. One of those laterals was clearly a forward pass. Play over at that point.

When i first looked I thought that Ball State had beat Michigan. Which wouldn’t surprise me this year.

Okay, I know very little about football, but at least one guy in white threw that ball when he had a clear path to run. It's like they were all afraid of being touched...? I don't understand.
And once the ball bounces on the ground, isn't that the end of it for that play?
