It’s just the flu, bro.
Half of the GOP and all of the Dems are in favor of continuing modified voting procedures as a result of COVID. COVID will be with us for years and the rules around COVID will be with us even longer. This will lead to so many lost GOP elections. We must call out these fearbro GOP members, who have many supporters right here on Freerepublic. Freerepublic is the GOP base so calling out fearbros here on Freerepublic is often helpful.

Good to see Congressman Dan Crenshaw is encouraging Houston businesses to not comply with lockdown rules and he is also encouraging law enforcement to not enforce lockdown laws.

I suspect that LA hospitals are not truly overrun. I do suspect, however, that LA hospitals are artificially creating a crisis by treating those who are positive for coronavirus as lepers who have the plague. This has the effect of lowering the hospital’s capacity. NY hospitals also acted in a similar idiotic way in March and April and this leads to death. Treat them like they have the flu and everything will be better.

Some Fearbro Freepers have equated being a Flubro with being pro-abortion. Abortion is the direct, intentional killing of innocent life. Breathing while having Coronavirus, or even having a common cold, can lead to an indirect and unintentional killing of someone. Very different. By simply driving on the road we can, by altering traffic patterns, lead to indirect and unintentional killing of people. One can’t be opposed to the indirect killing of others because as long as people are responsible for indirect killing there can never be freedom of any sort in our lives ever. Abortion and being a Flubro are not the same thing.
I have it. For me it ain’t even the flu, bro. Close to asymptomatic. 62 years old.
My wife has it. For her it’s a cold, bro. 61 years old, with some preexisting lung issues.
My daughter (30) most likely has it. Not even a cold, bro.
Now, have people died and had it worse? Undoubtedly. Is it worth the level of panic and hysteria happening? No.

Thank-you for all your work.
The facts are that make me continue to agree with your premi:
1. Dying of covid is not the same thing as dying with covid
2. The PCR test is highly flawed as admitted by the NY times. 70-90% are false positives. The number of replication cycles is way too high.
3. As recently reported, 89% of people who have recently gotten covid wear their mask most/all of the time
4. As the John’s Hopkins report recently showed, the average monthly deaths is in-changed...to the “surprise” of the researchers
5. If the wearing of masks was so helpful, Cali would not be surging but instead would continue to be dropping. They have some of the most restricting mandates of all of the states.
6. The practice of reporting supsequent positives (in the case of real infections) skews the number because of a afore mentioned PCR tests.
People cannot seem to understand that I can say that for some people (+80, obesity, smoking, and other comorbidities) covid can be life threatening, but that does not mean that it will kill everyone infected, nor will I live my life in fear.
Two years ago, my 79 y/o father with late stage alzheimemers slipped in the shower and broke his femur. He did not wake up right after surgery and quickly developed pneumonia and passed away...so, a shower killed my father, right?
