The Code of Georgia §21-2-570 provides that "Any person who gives or receives, offers to give or receive, or participates in the giving or receiving of money or gifts for the purpose of registering as a voter, voting, or voting for a particular candidate in any primary or election shall be guilty of a felony."
Grand and petit juries of Georgians should consider Joe Biden's, Reverend Warnock's and Jon Ossoff's statements:
"'By electing Jon and the Reverend, you can make an immediate difference in your own lives,' Biden said. 'Their election will put an end to the block in Washington for that $2,000 stimulus check. That money will go out the door immediately and help people who are in trouble.'"

"'If you send Jon and the Reverend to Washington,' Biden said, 'those $2,000 checks will go out the door restoring hope and decency and honor for so many people who are struggling right now. And if you send Senators Perdue and Loeffler back to Washington, those checks will never get there. It's just that simple. The power is literally in your hands.'"

"Kelly Loeffler has previously downplayed the need for additional relief for unemployed workers, and last week still refused to voice full support for $2,000 direct payments even after the effort was endorsed by President Trump."

“'When you send me and Reverend Warnock to the senate, we will pass those two thousand dollar stimulus checks that the people need, that families need to stay on their feet and in their homes,' Ossoff reiterated.”

Georgia prosecutors should consider Ossoff's and Warnock's statements promptly and Joe's well before the 20th.
Joe might also be entitled to long-term Southern hospitality under Texas Statute Sec. 36.02 or Florida Statute 104.061(2) for student loan-related promises.
Don't wait, soon it may be too late to close a gate to seal their fate.
The acts of a politician handing a person $20 from the 'machine' treasury for a vote or handing the person $2,000 from the US Treasury three weeks later for a vote both deserve to be criminal offenses. If prosecutors don't act to punish such acts, politicians buying votes will bankrupt the country and collapse the dollar.
Nice dream but it will never happen. The powers that be no longer prosecute election laws.
GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY, GIVE US MONEY!
Perhaps you haven't heard that we have a two-tiered judicial system in the Banana Republic - one for the elites, and the other for us peons. They are now among the dem elite and are immune from prosecution - otherwise Madam Hillary Benghazi and ISIS founder Hussein 0bama would already be serving time.
That does not apply to legislation. If it did, republicans would all go to jail for promising tax cuts.
It was simply an unfortunate thing that Trump, having gotten a stimulus bill, signed it and then claimed we should all get $2000. That allowed the house to pass a $2000 bill.
And when McConnell blocked it, it became clear that if you wanted a $2000 check, you had to remove McConnell from the leadership, which meant electing two democrats in Georgia.
Nobody was promised $2000 for voting. They were promised that if enough people voted to put the democrats in office, the senate would pass the $2000 bill, and everybody who qualified would get the additional $1400.
I think the additional $1400 was stupid. But I also think McConnell was stupid for blocking it. His own members wanted to vote for it, at least a good number of them. He had to know it would cost him the senate to block it. He was put in a lousy situation by the whole thing.
But I can think of worse things to do than give people back their own money.
