Dr. Dude, this isn’t directly related to your post, but your post got me thinking about the NG being called into DC and the invocation of the Insurrection Act.
I now believe that PDJT urged patriots to come to DC last Wednesday so that he’d have an excuse and the circumstances to invoke the Act. Before invoking the powers under the Act, 10 U.S.C. § 254 requires the President to first publish a proclamation ordering the insurgents to disperse. Absent the patriots gathering, what insurgents was he going to ask to disperse?
All summer long, D cities were burned and looted and Governors refused to permit the President to assist by sending in the NG. He desperately needed the circumstances of a large gathering in a venue where he had some jurisdiction so he could issue the necessary proclamation.
Knowing that the patriots who would respond to his invitation were overwhelmingly peaceable, there are only three possibilities. One is that the President’s team were confident that some real patriots would get carried away, break away from the main group, set upon the Capitol and cause mischief. But what if there were no such people, or they didn’t do what they did when they did it? Another possibility is that they could count on antifa to show up and challenge the patriots inside the Capitol. They’re a pretty brave group those pantifa types to take on such a large group.
The third possibility is that the people who “broke into” the Capitol (with help from the guards who opened the doors for them), had two missions. One was to steal laptops, probably under a FISA warrant, and the other was too cause enough mischief that gave the President the grounds for the pre-recorded dispersion speech he gave from the Rose Garden. There was a consensus here that that speech was pre-recorded, probably prior to Tuesday. How did PDJT know he’d need to say those things in that way and completely fulfil the prerequisites of the Insurrection Act?
I think the intrusion into the Capitol was arranged and that it was conducted by patriot infiltrators into antifa, which makes it possible that Ashli Babbitt is still alive. Somewhere last night or today, someone who presents as knowing things (Ghost, Pompeo, LWood) said “Some people who you think are dead are alive and some people who you think are alive are dead.” I think Ashli’s alive (and probably Epstein too) and now I wonder who’s dead.
