I’m glad you wrote this about the Washington Post.
My first political memory(although I didn’t know it at the time) was the Nixon resignation.
Even though I was only 3, I knew my father was very angry when his face turned red. His face was very red that day.
He said :
“Nixon is out, those SOB’s forced him out.”
Even though many conservatives have painted Nixon as a liberal. I still defend him, because Watergate was a Democrat takedown of a Republican President.
Who would you rather have as President from 1968-1976?
LBJ, Humphrey, McGovern, Wallace or Nixon.(LBJ was only eligible through 1972)

If Joe Biden was serious about restoring unity, he would be a man, a real man and step forward and tell Nancy Pelosi to stop the impeachment of a man who, for 4 years has done his very best to lead this country in the proper way. If Biden were really serious about creating unity, he would not stand by and watch Nancy Pelosi try to punish Donald Trump for what he has done. If he doesn’t, his call for unity is an empty vessel. It will be exposed as just political rhetoric to try to look nice. If he does decide to stop the impeachment, it will restore what I thought of him a year ago when he started to run.
What did Trump’s predecessor tell us? To eat our peas? To get in the back seat so HE could drive?
And they thought that was Tres Clever.
When Trump came in they lashed out and lied for 4 long years, destroying several good people with lies and lawfare.
Nope. No unity for a while—BY THEIR HAND, NOT OURS.
We need unity and peace at this point.
I wish, no I hope and pray, that Joe Biden’s inauguration is a peaceful as President Trump’s was.
We will have to take over the House in order to start that process.
Unity? What utter BS! If he really wanted unity, he wouldn’t be planning to jam through an amnesty for all illegals, followed by quickly making them all citizens. This is OBVIOUSLY intended to make the Democrats the ONLY party capable of winning the WH and either House of Congress - hardly an act of unity, more like one of slamming shut a jail cell.
Tucker Carlson is always spot on but he was en fuego and as eloquent and thoughtful as I’ve ever heard him. This is a must watch & share!
