The impeachment of Andrew Johnson was mean-spirited and personal. He did no wrong, no high crime and misdemeanor. But impeachment hardly is about justice; in presidential politics, it is about raw politics. The Republicans had the power, the control. They had crushed the slave-owning Democrats who would give birth to the Ku Klux Klan. The Democrats were always the party of slavery, and even in our own lives they elevated a Ku Klux Klan leader, Robert Byrd, to lead them.

The Democrats irresponsibly have just done something that perhaps is all but unprecedented in American history: they charged, tried, and convicted a person - the impeachment phase of the political drama - in less than a day. If impeachments are meant to be fit in during a coffee break, why did the last one drag on so long? Why did Clinton’s and Johnson’s? Last year’s annual Trump impeachment took weeks of testimony from witnesses all over the place. Remember their names - all your favorites - from last time? Kurt Volker. Marie Yovanovitch. Fiona Hill. George Kent. Gordon Sondland. Bill Taylor. Laura Cooper. Alex Vindman. His medals. Catherine Croft. It went on and on and on. If they had not shut it down for Christmas, Kato Kaelin would have been next.
But this time it was Darkness at Noon: instead of pretending honesty, Pelosi and her Democrats did the impeachment as Josef Stalin conducted his show trials in the Soviet Union: first declare the guilt, then type up some charges, and then vote to convict without so much as a meaningful hearing. She did not even bother with the souvenir pens - presumably just ink-refill cartridges this time.

They’re well on their way to reimposing racism in this nation.
They always seem to get around to this garbage, and it's always the main reason they wrote the piece to begin with: to prove to themselves how classy they are compared with the president.
And if President Trump leaves who stops the democrats? Nobody. The never Trumpers can join the democrats in hell.
If the Dems do everything they promised pre election: packing the courts, creating new states, etc., we are toast no matter what.

That mischaracterizes impeachment. Impeachment is just the charging or indictment phase. The trial and conviction phases happen in the senate. We make a big deal about impeachment because we have done it so rarely in our history. To paraphrase Chesterton, it is terrible to contemplate how few presidents are impeached.
Those who really listened to President Trump know what’s coming. Biden will not be in the WH.

Pray so, all seems ready, I think the dims are scared, but honestly if there is solid evidence presented to the military , then public trials should be done, no super secret crud, get it out, what’s wrong is wrong, what’s not is not..

So perhaps they are about to be arrested and charged by dni..and expect a backlash from Biden antifa, Russia, china, Iran, the vatican...on and on..hmmmmm we shall see...what is reality, total failing of our country, or strength, good economy, or ww3..all are within reason..my advice to potus, martial law lite, expose all lies and treason, support Israel in destroying Iran’s oil fields forever, and all military sites pertinent to our concerns..and stake out the fence, we have already been attacked with bio weapons..time to dance or die

The impeachment was merely a diversion. Meanwhile, 26,000 National Guard troops descended on DC, the Capitol is sealed off, Conservative sites are being de-platformed, Biden is staffing his cabinet with Obama staffers, and his first day executive orders are not being broadcasted.
It was all a ploy. Get ready, the remainder of this week is going to be a real hoot.
The big drama about having national guard troops there is to disguise the fact that very few citizens would show up...
Tomorrow will be an interesting day. A lot of talk about events and
what is going to happen. But I think it mostly all talk but we’ll see.
Public trials and confessions will happen. The Space Force will be used to transmit them.
at this point little green guys could jump in and id be happy, but doesn’t seem likely, hope I am wrong..
